Hamilton Junior High School

Our current 8th graders will attend freshman orientation next Wednesday, May 15, in the high school auditorium, immediately following cheerleading tryouts; around 9:30. If parents would like to attend this session, they are welcome. Please enter through the front doors of the high school. Another session will be offered that same day, 5/15, in the HHS auditorium from 4:00 - 6:00. Students will choose classes for their freshman year, as well as pre-select courses for their 4-year plan. Parents, please plan to attend either available orientation.

REMINDER: Current AWE and HJH students grades (incoming 1st- 8th) may be nominated for the Gifted and Talented Program at Hamilton ISD. These forms need to be returned by TOMORROW, Friday, May 10, 2024. Here is a link to the online form https://forms.gle/fx3DnSjaRkwNrjS57

The spring dance “Glow on the Dance Floor” is next Friday, April 26, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM in the JH cafeteria. There will be snacks, drinks, and glow gear available for purchase so bring a few dollars if you want to buy anything. The dance costs $5 to get in, and we will sell tickets during lunch, starting next Wednesday. Tickets may also be purchased at the door Friday night. We hope to see EVERYONE at our final dance of the year!!
